Project Details 

Harrell Design Group is currently providing infrastructure design and construction period services for a new hybrid operating room for Palmetto Heath Richland. The new hybrid operating room will combine the functions of a heart catherization lab with a heart-specialized operating room. The hybrid design will allow higher risk heart catherization cases to be performed without the usual concern for transporting the patient to an operating room if condition s require during the heart catherization procedure.

The power intensive room required an upgrade to the hospital’s emergency power infrastructure. The project also required a new air handling unit with low temperature capability.

Harrell Design Group is also providing electrical and HVAC systems commissioning services for this project.
