Project Description
Project Details
Building 15 is the VAMC Asheville’s four story engineering and facilities building.
As part of the Exterior Maintenance Project, HDG provided a complete assessment of the building’s stucco veneer, doors and windows, cast stone details, roof fascia and soffits and other components of the facades. Deficiencies were identified and a probable cost estimate was developed to help the VA establish a scope of work which was within budget and most critical for the building’s performance and long term maintenance.
Repairs included: cleaning and repairing stucco, re- caulking joints, replacing damaged roof fascia and soffits, scraping and painting metal doors and frames, and cleaning and repair of existing stone detailing.
Project Size: All facades of multi-story administration building
Project Cost: $250,000
